don't have much family here in cali. but i got a house full of love in noho. we don't need an excuse to b.b.q at my tio's house, the water's always nice, my baby cousins rock, and they got HBO! besides all that, it reminds me of the house i grew up in, when things were simple.

hammer time

  I look forward to KCRW's Also I Like To Rock every year at the Hammer. They bang out free music every thursday night of July and It was were I first saw Voxhaul Broadcast last year, so the line-ups are no joke.  First up to bat this week was Eastern Conference Champions and Graff6, they do like to rock.  The shows are set in a second story enclosed outdoor space with no roof so the lighting is everchanging...magical.
